The SodFather got it’s start in 2008 when a High School Football player started a summer job as a labourer for a local Sod Installation company. A passion was lit and in 2008, We Sod It Landscaping saw its beginnings take root in Calgary, Alberta.
For over a decade, Jay from We Sod It worked tirelessly providing Calgary area residents with top quality Landscaping Services at Industry Leading Pricing.
With his dedication to customer service, hard work and quality results, We Sod It Landscaping grew. Jay added sod supply to his roster and the SodFather opened to the Calgary market in May 2018.

History of We Sod It Landscaping & the SodFather
We Sod It Landscaping was founded in 2008 by Jason Dyler. Having developed skills in the industry through 3 years of summer employment, he set out on starting a company based on the values that he was taught as a community and High School Football player.
Three of these core values were: High Work Ethic, Attention to Every Detail, and Commitment to Excellence for every project, no matter the size. In seeing the importance of these values, Jason wanted to give back to the community. He has been a volunteer community football coach since 2008.
